      As much as I don’t like both of them, trump for obviously being an orange pdf, and Charles for his behaviour towards his first wife and other shady stories (no where close to being as bad as trump) respect for this move

      If a bunch of British Redditors had their way Charles would have snubbed Trump to make a statement, instead of showing up and defying him.

      It’s remarkable for British royalty to make overt contemporary statements. Usually you have to read between the lines.

      It also shows the absolute masterclass of diplomacy being offered towards an administration that prefers to shitpost AI slop on twitter and a president that rants at 3am to steer the market. You have to notice how the king is subtly praising the US for it’s help in everything that Trump and the republicans are against.
