Evening shot from Speicherstadt, Hamburg

Been there. This is a very good shot. Bit crunchy in the shadows straight ahead but otherwise fanstastic post. Longer exposure worked nicely here. Yellow and blue colour contrast is perfect. The muted red works really well here, leaving room for the interesting light columns on either side to work their structural and tonal magic. Ideally, you’d want a crisper centre to hold up to scrunity because that’s where the eye will come to rest.
