Why do the numbers only go by 4?
This is funny. I come from Brazil, where the internet is basically a Wild West, and now live in Germany, a country where you can be handsomely fined for torrenting, yet the number in Brazil is much lower than Germany.
I use a VPN in Germany everyday, something I never had to do in Brazil.

Most south asian countries have more freedom than what’s displayed on the map, ig it’s based on laws, otherwise freedom is there similar to brazil
India is wild west. You can access anything if you put your mind to it. VPN and sailing the high seas is pretty normal. Only issue comes are Internet shutdowns in regions of violence.
Brazil at 52 is a complete joke, there’s absolutely nothing here that would put us so low. There’s no censorship, torrents are ok, VPNs, no blocking to any social medias, everything.
In my opinion, we have too much freedom. There’s a lot of online content that should be censored and isn’t, including hate crimes, that you can see everywhere.
