Well, technically…
It’s not and It’s forbidden. In general follow what the majority do.
The feet are not on the seat.
It is not normal. Personally, I see it very rarely, but I do often see people taking off shoes and putting socked feet on the opposite chair.
But the photo you shared is a bit of a loophole: his feet aren’t touching the chair, so in a way this is fair game 😉

That’s actually a swiss move as the feet arent touching anything
of course not but that unfortunately never stops anybody from doing so.
With shoes no . Socks is allowed
As a bünzli i would say this is fine
schlecht!
the amount of posts like this in this sub is insane lol
You need glasses, my friend, he doesn’t even touch the seat…
Its fine.. the pants are even probably much cleaner than peoples sweaty arms
Evidence is not supporting the claim. Case dismissed.
Normal, as in seen frequently, yes. Desired by the general public? No haha. As long as they take off their shoes and don’t stink up the train, I don’t really care.
i see no feet on any seats
That doesn’t look comfortable
I mean technically 🤣
I find that extremely rude and inconsiderate
Remove those annoying tables and trash cans and replace 4-seat configuration with airplane seating (at least partially, not 100%): Problem „solved“.
If the trains empty, I don’t see much of an issue with what that person’s doing. Doesn’t need to bother anyone (if train is empty).
Or did that disturb you in any way? By doing what?
It is rude and disrespectful and against regulations but people do it and regulations aren’t enforced, except maybe by the occasional ticket master, who walks away and feet go back up
Here we go again with those posts.
