You cant force sex equality in any industry. This has been studied to death. Men and women prefer different things. The military is a living example of the gender equality paradox based on the RAISEC model.

Turns out women are not super into [a working environment where there’s a 1-in-12 chance PER YEAR of being sexually assaulted by a coworker](https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/85-603-x/85-603-x2023001-eng.htm), with little or no chance that anything will be done about it.
And the CAF’s scratching their heads and saying „I guess women just don’t want to serve!“

Personally I don’t care who doing the job as long as it’s done. It’s the same thing in the civilian life. How many women in the construction industry versus paramedics.
If you are in the army, every body carries the same kit. It’s not for everyone, men or women.
Air Force and navy is something else.

I’ve read some reporting that clearly indicates that enrolling thousands of Permanent Residents has definitely not made the CAF a better working environment for women.

Gender quotas should not exist. The CAF is open to women, standards should be equalized across the board. leave it at that.
