The US is currently trying to ban all routers and networking equipment not made in the USA from it’s own networks.

Chinese equipment has been found to have overall atrocious security and backdoors as well.

I think all nations should assume router backdoors will be a significant issue during any conflict where China or the US is involved.

    2. We know they do this they’ve been caught multiple times. Countries would have been safer keeping Huawei gear imo

Yeah, there is a reason the US doesn’t want you buying network equipment made in countries other than the US.

Apple gets hacked by the Israeli Pegasus Trojan so much, at this point I just believe someone from the IDF works on the Apple team installing the backdoors.

    5. Either 1) The were sabotaged when Iran purchased the equipment, like when Israel vended explosive cell pagers to Hezbollah, or 2) They didn’t update their software. If Iran is correct, then it’s probably the former. But I think the latter is more likely. There could also be a spy attaching devices to their equipment.

    6. This only newsworthy if you have been living under rock for the last decade.

    7. All contemporary computers have built-in back-doors at the hardware level by one country or another. We’d all like to believe this isn’t true.

That doesn’t sound like my country one bit. We love Jesus and only do prayers round here.

Such is war. Wait until the cargo crains made in China installed at ports around the world are shut down.
