I mean how are you going to build up pressure in the population if you just keep him in jail? It’s better for the government if there’s a legitimate threat to the country rather than quashing things before they get out of hand.

  2. This is how prisons work, we don’t put you there for your beliefs no matter what those beliefs are, we put you there for your actions.

He served the majority of his sentence.

You can’t keep him in jail because of thoughts.

No one in Canada wants thought police.

Time for CBC to do another hard hitting investigation into 12 racist gym bros who haven’t actually done anything.

  5. As long as he doesn’t attack innocents or try to replace our government with a theocratic dictatorship after his release, then it’s his right to believe whatever he wants, even if its deplorable and fucked up, government can’t police that.

We can also do the same to the yahoo separatists and send them back to Croydon, England or something.

Jeez it’s a real good thing this guy didn’t attend a protest the government doesn’t like. Or displayed a symbol the government doesn’t like. He would’ve been in real trouble then. But thankfully he just has extremely violent behavioral problems and religious extremist convictions, so he’s good.
