      It’s not even *remotely* a competition.

      We’ve had bad presidents before, like Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, and Richard Nixon, but they all weren’t this insane, corrupt, or just monstrous. And they all thought they were doing what’s best for America. They were often wrong, and selfish, bigoted, and so on, but Trump doesn’t *care at all* about anyone other than himself.

      He bankrupted several casinos. I know that’s old news but it’s a gigantic sized red flag that he’s a reckless, impulsive moron. There are halfway houses packed with people that would make a better president than this chump. The bill is coming due and none of us are going to like it.

      Easily among the worst heads of government in 20th-21st Century world history as well I’d argue, and yes I think he’s in the Hitler ballpark. The only thing he has yet to do is intentionally conduct an organized genocide, and I think most of us would agree he would have no qualms about committing genocide. His disturbing nuclear interests and fixations are alarming to say the least.

      Buchanan is the only one close, and would have been worse had Trump not been elected a second time. But the corruption now is just so much worse than Buchanan’s.

      Even with previous godawful presidents, there’s still a few things they accomplished during their term that is worth celebrating.

      I legitimately can’t think of one thing Trump has done that was good for America.

      Other horrible Presidents aren’t in the same league, let alone ball game. He defines the category. It’s the only category in which he truly is beyond competition.

      I wish to hell people had listened years ago, and not mocked those saying what a terrible mistake he would be.

      There have been bad presidents, incompetent presidents and corrupt presidents. In fact you could argue more presidents than not were not great. But I always felt for every other President maybe since Buchanan has been fighting in America’s best interests.

      Trump is a saboteur, destroying American strength and hegemony for incomprehensible reasons, supporting our enemies, destroying our friendships, disrupting the economy and spreading division and disinformation, while also being more incompetent and corrupt than any other President ever.

      I think our best case scenario is Democrats win back Congress and we can avoid consequences like we faced with Buchanan’s undermining of the national unity. If anything we are going to be saved by the fact that his regime IS an incredibly incompetent clown show and stocked with unqualified sycophants whose lies are transparent, making them incredibly unpopular and preventing them from being able to go much further than murdering a few civilians and harassing minority communities with masked police.

      Andrew Jackson tried to commit genocide on the native Americans. I would say that is far worse at a human level than anything Trump has done. But he sure is trying to get there with some of his tweets about Iran. While on a constitutional level Trump is definitely worse scraping at the foundations of the nation.
