If we make it that long, we did great. trump may take us all out in a nuke war before then.

    2. >Gross made the prediction that “due to the danger of nuclear war” humankind may only have about 35 years left.

      >He elaborated that this was a “crude estimate” based on the annual probability of nuclear conflict.

This has nothing to do with over-population, pollution, farm shortages, over fishing, animal extinction, or anything else. What he is saying is we keep putting lunatics in power who want to dominate the world for their own sake or no one else can have it and this is creating an increased chance of global nuclear annihilation.

    3. Of course Newsweek posts something behind a paywall. But hey, you still managed to fit in as many ads as you could before hitting the paywall. I thought I blocked Newsweek?!

So this brings up an issue I have. I’m in my mid 60s snd probably will be dead by then. I’m ecologically aware and for example, don’t dislike Greta Thumberg whatsoever. She kind of represents the fact that people her age or younger are going to have to go through crazy things because of climate change. So why all the hate? And I find the Armageddon (destiny is going to kill us anyhow and only certain people will have everlasting life) type of attitude totally ridiculous and, frankly, selfish.
