      Ford said „they could run mickey mouse against me“ on Monday, bought a private jet on thursday, was forced to sell it on sunday and by Tuesday the news is musing his undoing.

      A decade is about what you get and he will be there by the next election. The Liberals lasted longer by swapping leaders. Don’t think he’s going to want to go.

      To be honest I think the earlier controversies are what will probably do the OPC’s in 2029 rather than the jet situation. Though I think Ford is going to be retiring from provincial politics sometime in 2028-2029 prior to the election anyways etc. Once he’s past the threshold of being premier for over a decade, I think he’ll be happy to let the curtains fall.

      That’s generally good news for Ford, but bad news for the party because I think they’re likely in for a reckoning in 2029.

      You mean the fact that he was a former drug dealer, engaged in childish antics while in municipal government, constantly enabled his drug-addicted and alcoholic mayor brother, and has tried cosplaying as mayor of Toronto since becoming premiere… you mean that guy has finally done something to start his undoing?

      Nah. The gravy plane is going to keep on flyin‘.
