Each fine = 550 Australian dollars
550 AUD = $394 USD
I’m left unsure what the outrageous mess is. Is there an accuracy issue with the cameras?
Or are people just upset that they are being caught not wearing their seatbelt?

This article says more than a million AUD in fines were undone, and the politician says it’s 4% error rate. So, about $25 million in total fines. Is it really about safety?
