This could have been a problem in our german computer science bachelor math class. Heavy stuff.
Challenge accepted.
(A)=n/3=f(n) from elementary algebra;
Since a_1=7, a_2=(B)=10 from substituting n=2 into the given equation;
a_1+a_2=17, and the expression inside Σ can be replaced with 2k+1 (∵㉠)
Thus, (C)=52. The requested value should be 130.
Took me 5~6 minutes. Since most of the process is already given, the problem isn’t that hard. Disclaimer: There may be miscalculations, I wasn’t being very careful.

have a question, p is a number and q is a number too. Both of these numbers can be calculated. It then says find the product of pq of pq/f(12). How is the function f relevant here? Given that both p and q can be calculated already why is the pq/f(12) even there at all? Is it a translation error perhaps? Surely the question is either find pq/f(12) or just find pq?
