The purpose of a mine is to deter invaders. And seeing him, they (partially) did their job.
You might ask yourself, if your purpose in life is to invade other countries? If you would not have done this, the mines would be out of a job, but that would be a good thing for everybody. But you have chosen to invade another country. So one might say, that your purpose in life is to encounter mines. A lot of people would say, that there are better purposes or goals for your life.

I’ve seen two recent videos of how Ukraine does this, which is new, as they’ve been using drones to scatter mines for ages, but I’d never seen video of how until recently. They also seem to have a new-ish rack-mounted fixture that they can add to vampyr drones, to make this ultra-efficient.
