Widerstand gegen den Ausbau der LNG-Infrastruktur in BC

Several things are abundantly clear to me in the case of LNG.

– Any and all investment is good.

– The idea of clean, “low-carbon” LNG is a total lie

– As a province we will be paying billions to subsidize LNG facilities and their electricity supply

– In terms of long term jobs, not temporary construction jobs, the benefit is very little

– The royalties are not that substantial

Given this, it’s entirely appropriate for people to question the benefits of these megaprojects.
