Aber denken Sie daran: 1) Suchen Sie nach versteckten Kosten, 2) wenn Sie selbst in der Stadt ein sozialer Außenseiter wären, könnten Sie in einer ländlichen Gemeinde als Paria landen, 3) es ist nichts für ältere Menschen – nach 50 ziehen Sie aus Bequemlichkeit und Gesundheitsfürsorge zurück in die Stadt

One of my favorite things to do in the States or Europe is to pick out a new spot on the map to drive to and explore. Inevitably you’ll find some unique & charming food, shops & people.

Japan has almost none of that (apart from a handful of „well-known“ weekend getaway towns.) Drive to most rural communities and they’ll look abandoned. If they’re lucky, they have a convenience store. Any „nice“ house definitely isn’t for sale. Only the houses built of cheap plastics & laminates with zero insulation are.

It’s also funny that this company says to move back to the city at age 50… The countryside’s filled almost exclusively with residents over the age of 50.

4) They aren’t up to date with modern earthquake building codes.
