Hallo! Das ist mir also bei den meisten Anzeigen auf otodom aufgefallen, als ich nach Mietwohnungen gesucht habe. Dort sind mehrere Preise aufgeführt, und ich bin mir nicht sicher, welcher für was geeignet ist. Mir ist bewusst, dass die meisten Vermieter eine Kaution verlangen, aber warum scheinen die Kautionen viel höher zu sein als die Miete? Außerdem, was ist das "1950 Zloty + Gebühr 830 pro Monat" soll das heißen? Wenn ich auf die Anzeige klicke, steht dort, dass die Miete 830 pro Monat und die Kaution 2800 beträgt. Was sind also 1950 Zlot?

1950 is the actual monthly rent you pay to the owner. 830 refers to the maintenance/admin fees.
It depends on the city, but sounds shitload of money for a low quality apartment
It’s a trick to show in filters for lower prices. Always add all the costs together +100 zł to get the actual full cost.
Your monthly rent will be 2780:
– 1950 is how much you landlord is actually getting
– 830 is the maintenance monthly fee (each building has different things included in it: if it’s a building with security/reception, garden, underground parking, this fee will be higher; some buildings also include water and heating in it, others don’t – therefore you may see another third “fee” in the description, usually called “zaliczka na media / media advance payment”)
Deposit is usually the sum of all these fees/costs.
Why can’t they just give one fixed price? Can I not pay the maintenance fees? No. So they are part of the rent.
