    1. I suspect that this is a consequence of rampant corruption throughout the Russian system.

Or, it could be internal sabotage as well.

They’re also churning out many thousands per month. It makes sense to cut costs until a few fail each time.

Absolutely braindead post. There are hundreds Shahed drones attacking Ukraine every night (!!!). They carry [AA missiles](https://gwaramedia.com/en/russia-equips-shahed-with-man-portable-anti-aircraft-missile-system-ukrainian-military-says/), [re-translators](https://english.nv.ua/nation/what-are-mesh-networks-and-why-russian-drone-control-is-a-challenge-after-starlink-blockade-50581999.html), [mines](https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2026/03/29/8027679/) and [Lancet](https://www.fw-mag.com/shownews/977/ukraine-the-case-of-the-lancet-loitering-munition-over-kyiv) sub-drones. Some of those have FPV-like manual control functionality to attack Ukrainian mobile AA units.

Some drones work as a mesh network circling around big cities and providing a network connection to other drones.

This is an incredibly flexible and powerful platform that can easily operate at -30 degrees temperature in thick fog and while being jammed.

The fact that EU countries allow Russia to avert sanctions and under-estimate Russian capabilities is an absolutely mindless delusion that emboldens the aggressor and will backfire on the EU 100%. We’ve seen how Patriot missile stock ran out in Hormuz a month ago, and the Gulf countries called Ukraine to help. The same thing will happen when thousands of Shaheds fly towards Paris.

The Russian economy should be crippled to the point of military-industrial complex implosion. But still, EU countries are OK supplying Russia with sanctioned goods [through Kyrgyzstan ](https://tradingeconomics.com/european-union/exports/kyrgyzstan)for example.

    4. Ooh is there a Polymarket spread for which Oligarch is going to disintegrate mid flight because of this??

I bet 3rd floor window. 2 shots in the head. No torture. $3k

Russia build a couple good guns and that was it, Russian technology was never „Great“ it wasn’t even. „Good“ Russian technology was cheap and mass produced.

Out of the larger militaries in the world, I would probably say that Russia and North Korea are probably closer in technology now.

    8. East Germans had a saying: never trust beautiful women or anything built by Russians.

Drum traue niemals schönen Frauen und allem was die Russen bauen.

If flying garbage forces the use of an expensive interceptor, it’s a win for the aggressor.

they are rushing over for quantity and compromising with the quality of drones

Yes, yes, Ukraine’s military factories and thermal power plants, as well as thousands of burnt-out Ukrainian Armed Forces tanks and hundreds of thousands of military graves, can confirm that there is no need to fear Russian drones.

    12. It’s always been like this. Back in WW2 early T-34 tanks had an issue with the track link bolts falling out due to vibrations when driving. Instead of fixing the retention mechanism, they welded a metal wedge at the end of the track run to ram the bolts back into position when they eventually came around.

Shitty solutions are seen as inventive in the east.
