If Belarus would do or allow this, European countries should just step in a join Ukraine. Just echo this scenario. 100% Belarus would back off.

If anything, it’s an attempt to spread out the AFU even more. I’d like to think Belarus wasn’t that stupid, but I no longer have any idea how low a government’s iq can go.

Luka isn’t as dumb as Putin and realises that a ground invasion will only end in disaster much like Putin’s 40km disaster in 2022 which was isolated and cut to ribbons by the Ukrainians.

These days, the disaster for the invasion force would be even quicker and more deadly as the Ukrainians were playing nice then, now they’re done with people thinking they can join the party…👌

If Belarus was to invade Ukraine then I’d be shocked and surprised if they lasted very long, Belarusians aren’t quite as brainwashed as those in Russia so there will be plenty more partisans on Ukraine’s side and many people refusing to take part

I’d be even more surprised if Belarus has adapted to drone warfare at all whatsoever

As I recall, the border defenses along the Belarus border have been massively strengthened since 2022, after Ukraine expelled Russian forces from the region north of Kyiv. Belarus would lose every vehicle and every man it sent before they got even a couple of kilometers into Ukraine.

I think that the only adequate response to any threat 2022-style is to respond immediately and quite strongly. Turn a few military bases (including expensive airplanes and AA systems) to dust. That would convey the message. And if there is a chance for an uprising against the dictator, all the best.
