These are very difficult posts to see but memory was built to bear witness. I’m here, old and many miles away but I will not ever let the good people of Ukraine feel alone.
Remember the story of the Widow’s Mite from the Christian New Testament. In giving, we know fully, we are still alive. The widow in the parable, is saying, „I am still giving, I am still here.“
And remember the hard road Ukraine’s veterans will have after this criminal war.
That good day, will be when our care and solidarity will be doubly needed, and so, we must still keep watch for many, many years over our friends. Slava Ukraini.
