15% of brazil is Italian by ancestry, which is 32m people.

But in both countries, portugese for Brazil and Spanish for Argentina is still the predominant ancestry, with basically everyone having those.

Isn’t that the old joke about Argentines? They are Italians that speak Spanish who act like they are British.
