Visa free travel with the Schengen area is basically the strongest perk you can give to a passport

Much rather this than actual Schengen visas

Has this been getting pushed back? I thought this was going to happen later this year for the past 4 years.

  3. They’ve introduced this nonsense for ordinary people who just want to travel, while at the same time, they’re letting illegal migrants arrive by boat on Europe’s shores in large numbers, and very quickly granting them residence permits once they arrive, making them legal. This especially applies to Spain.

ETIAS is just another huge piece of nonsense, one of many that European officials have come up with.

  4. Especially from countries like the UK and US I think this is more than fair, if they let us pay to get in, they definitely should when entering our area. Damn those countries have a lot of scum too, get through customs, enjoy open borders but don’t pay a damn cent for it. If you can pay to cross the sea or ocean, then this you can pay too.

I do feel double about other countries. The same price is much more costly for Bosnians and Ukrainians than Americans. And countries like Australia let us in for free too, so one can’t convince me that easily for those countries.

Should be „to enter the Schengen area and Cyprus“, it’s not the same thing as the EU.
