Joe, love him or hate him, has been a huge proponent of psychedelics but more specifically psychedelics in treatment settings. Ibogaine does have an impressive record and in controlled settings could potentially help people out of addition. No different than using MDMA for PTSD.
Make kratom a felony. Unschedule psychedelics.
If Rogan can use his influence to get the Trump admij to push towards legalization of ibogaine and possibly other psychedelics that can help with addiction and mental disorders, then that would be a huge positive and balance out the harm he did by advocating Trump for president.
And by harm, i mean using his massive voice to influence an election despite really not being the most informed person out there.
I really hope this works. We’ve known for years the power of ibogaine and other psychedelics (even mdma) for treating addiction, ptsd and other serious issues. Maybe this will be one good thing Trump does. Hopefully this isn’t just empty gestures that go nowhere

I was intrigued when I saw Rogan behind him.
Never gonna be upset about helping people with addiction or mental illness. Idc who signs the paper. This is a win for the people
The level of close mindedness to think Joe is set in stone is incredible.
Everything needs to be viewed from perspective and especially the perspective of time.
Back then and before the controlled hive mind was running around the streets with rainbow flags ironically demanding communism if not anarchy. The world was an asylum of the mentally deranged, this was normal, we all remember it and those that don’t were probably themselves those exact PC people.
In this dark world (where people like Epsteins or Clinton’s and similar evil people were living the best times of their satanic life).
Someone like trump pops up and creates a movement in the other direction, of course people like Joe or other open minded people that saw the hell we were existing in and was tiered of it went with Trump as there was no one else with balls to do exactly that.
And yes of course like with any elite power player everyone was fucked in the end including Joe.
Does this mean that Joe was cast in stone forever in this moment in time? No it does not even how much you dislike Joe one thing he is famous for is not and never keeping a black and white cemented belief or opinion about anything and the proof of this is in his podcast, you know one of the longest running podcasts on earth as he was very early out on this medium, a great thing as everything I’m writing now can be looked up back in time.
Joe is not perfect he never was, he is emotional and have wild extreme ideas and then he changes his views publicly without shame because he is all about being a simple human that is wondrous an can be wrong.
This meme of Joe being cemented in time, are the same clowns that kept their eyes shut and attacked people like Joe when what he was talking about ended up being true.
They hate potential truth that threatens their comfort ideology, that is all.

For those online criticizing Rogan for saying he was “politically homeless” but then being photographed with Trump, I think this situation requires some nuance. All things considered, if Joe Rogan is there as a vocal advocate for psychedelic treatment for PTSD, he gets a pass in my opinion. And this is coming from someone who is not a Joe Rogan fan. I think he’s done real political damage in the past by providing a platform for Trump. In sports, I think they call it “sportswashing” when countries with questionable practices gain favor in the public eye for hosting global sporting events. I would call what Joe Rogan did with Trump “podcastwashing” or “bro-sphere endorsing.” Just Trump’s presence on the show was enough to send a message pre-election.
And I do wonder who controls Joe Rogan. Because his platform is too big to be independent of influence. I mean his contract with the UFC alone means there’s parameters regarding how critical he can be about current political leaders. He can’t be ringside at the White House and also have freedom of speech.
So it’s a mixed bag here I think. He can still be politically homeless and yet want to advocate for psychedelic use in treating PSTD in veterans. And his podcast operation and UFC affiliation prevents him from openly assessing the political landscape and expressing that critique openly. There’s many needles he has to thread I imagine.
And I will say, after avoiding Joe Rogan’s podcast like the plague, I’ve listened to a few interviews since he’s started popping up in the UFO corner of the internet. For the most part, I’ve found him to be mostly un-offensive to listen to. I had way more negative preconceived notions than was warranted. I will still vote blue, but I’ve left behind the left-leaning media stigmas associated with certain shows and have started actually listening to the content. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still critical about certain content but after learning about all these conspiracies lately, I’ve become less reactive about certain hosts and shows.
