The liberal candidate won by 668 votes. 371 ballots were rejected.

% of rejected ballots was also lower than average in Battle River-Crowfoot last summer.

I wonder if the lower rejection rate is partly consequence of by-election voters being more engaged. Looks like about 0.3% of ballots in Scarborough SW were rejected, which is far less than the 0.9% average.
