      Axios is reporting they have a leak that Trump offered 20 billion for Iran’s uranium. That I immediately believed this despite it being a literal rumour unconfirmed by anyone speaks to how laughable America has been in this entire process.

      Lets see when the ships get moving. At the moment there is not really alot of movement before the straight on either side.
      You would think there are alot of ships start sailing immediatly that waited the Last weeks. One cruise ship will cross the next few hours.

      Well done Trump! You now have a situation where Iran is not only more bold because it survived the U.S. but if it gets that $20 Billion in frozen funds it wants, then it’s absolutely using it on rebooting its nuclear program.

      The U.S. has come out of this weaker while fucking over every ally it had in the process. And the best part? None of this had to happen. Fucking none of it.

      The all caps, I get. Trump has always used all caps. But I keep seeing the „THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!“ meme on Reddit. I was skeptical of that meme at first, but it’s true, this orange buffoon will use this in his writing every now and then, lol.

      So Iran now declares it for open, meanwhile Trump still says it’s closed “for business”.

      Is this some sort of 5D move by Iran to pull the rug under Trump for wanting a pice of the talked about ship fee/tax for passing (aka, the business)?

      Doesn’t change the fact that you’d be crazy to send any civilian vessels into the region as long as there’s no guarantee that this state of affairs will be permanent. It might temporarily lower prices, but in truth, it is really no more open than it was yesterday, unless investors and insurers are comfortable that there is no real risk of another shutdown in the foreseeable future.

      In short, this likely won’t change much.
