„I’m rebranding my artisanal cheese business and going into railroads!“ Someone, probably, in 1903

So, a pump and dump with an extra step. I’m sure the current administration’s FTC will investigate this as thoroughly and professionally as they are capable…

Investors are sane, smart, rational people and they should always dictate the world’s economy.

    4. The stock market ls filled with silly fools who think a shoe company turning into an AI company is financially plausible.

Easy money betting on the drop after yesterday.

      Everything is a joke.

This should result in indictments but we’re currently governed by con artists.

We have reached peak stupidity. A sneaker company just puts the word AI in its name and is now worth 600% more overnight? The market needs to crash like tomorrow.

    8. Inevitable. I just wish I was a little more quick on the story to make a quick buck. This was 100% a pump & dump scheme and would’ve raised alarms all over before Trumps corrupt regime.

    9. fuuuuuuck i called the pump and dump yesterday, wish i could have gotten in on that

    10. 600% gain on Wednesday, gives back 30% on Thursday.  The bag holders may have taken a hit but I wish my 401k would „tumble“ like that

I dunno guys, a (bad) shoe company getting into AI infrastructure sounds like a solid investment to me.

I genuinely do not get this.

AI is insanely overvalued right now. When the bubble bursts all the small companies will be wiped out. They have to know that, right?

    13. I got a really expensive pair for Christmas this past year, they were the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn, returned them right away

    14. Some other companies have pivoted, like Nokia, Avon, Wrigleys and YouTube (a video dating site called Tune In Hook Up). But usually it’s been about selling incidental products more than their main product. This is clearly something fishy.

Kind of a bummer as I like the shoes. Very comfy. Not sure I want comfy AI

Automated trading caught wind of the AI keyword. Then the fund managers looked at what it was investing in and said what the fuck and pulled out.

They used to be valued at 4B!!!!! Sold the company assets next to nothing and then pivot to AI 😂. You can’t make this up!!!! Genius!!!!
