How does this guy keep getting starring roles when everything he’s in bombs and his acting is terrible?

Nosferatu was unwatchable, hot garbage. My sibling actually got up and walked out of the cinema it was so bad.
I stayed as I payed the money to see it but I regret every second. Never watching another Eggers film in my life.
