    1. Where is that? Seems quite stupid. Did they do that to stop cars from parking on it and made it bad for pedestrians too??

They dont want you walking there. Too dangerous. There’s a lovely new path just inside that wall. Thanks SDCC

Imagine trying to walk that home after a tipple too many. Could put that in the next SAW movie

    4. If you can’t walk around a few stones then Charles Darwin has an idea for you. But is that really a deliberate policy? It’s not wheelchair or pram friendly so it’s really not acceptable

    5. It’s so people don’t use that pavement. There’s one near my house that ends abruptly in kind of a shitty place to cross to the other side

There’s one of these old paths on the blessington rd Tallaght on a section of dangerous bends, It’s blocked off to stop people using it and a new safer path was build on the far side of the wall.

I assume that’s the road between Citywest and Jobstown?

My best guess is it’s to encourage people to walk through the park on the other side of that wall, rather than that path, which is quite narrow and on a busy road.

that’s not Dublin City Council, it’s in South Dublin County Council.

      go ask them, not DCC.

So a lot of people are saying so people use a new footpath inside, but in my mind it seems like a decent way to possibly prevent e scooters or scramblers too (even if unintended)
