      Everyone says JD Vance went 0 for 2 on his trip. He didn’t help Orban get re-elected nor did he get anywhere on peace negotiations.

      This is some real hubris here on JD’s part. The Pope is God’s representative on Earth. Theology (especially Catholic doctrine) is his forte.

      Pope Leo holds a doctorate and several degrees and honors in theology. He’s also been in service to the church and “on the job” for decades.

      He holds a position of ancient Christian authority that dates back to the beginning of the church. They don’t elect just anyone to become Pope, it is as much a leadership role as it is a theological role.

      THE theological role.

      And Vance has two ghost written books, no theology degrees and has held no church offices of any kind.

      Maybe shut up and sit down Vance?

      We keep attributing “identity” to terrible people with terrible personalities as if they speak for genders, races, ethnicities, and generations.
