Our ministry most certainly knows what their subjects need especially now when unemployment is high and more and more people are struggling to get the bread on table

Another tone deaf move from the shitty Orpo/Finn led government. Worst economic downturn in years, huge increases in unemployment and a cost of living crisis. Lets increase the cost of water more.

    3. By whom?

Government doesn’t own water. Housing has legal rights to water supply, and they’re usually either companies owned by local municipality, co-operative of the property owners, or owned by the property using the supply.

Soo how about a little general strike? Feels like the people in power has forgot who pays their salary and benefits.

I wonder if this cheap water is in the room with us now? Certainly it doesn’t come from my tap

    6. The real problem is not the cheapness of water, but the lack of maintenance and poor condition of Finland’s water supply network, i.e. the maintenance backlog, because maintenance, upkeep and repair of our water supply network have either been continuously cut or postponed to save money. And also note: this is still the same government that has previously complained that food, groceries, electricity, rental apartments and medicines are also allegedly too cheap in Finland.

    7. Just wait when theres no more tax to gain, let us introduce the air tax. You want to breathe? You pay
