Never thought I’d see the day where I’m rooting for a moderate conservative LDP member, but if my only other options are Bakaichi or Sanseito, I’ll pick the classic and predictable LDP-sleazeball any day (I’ve already lost hope in anything centrist or left-wing winning)

Anyone with more info on Motegi is free to correct me. I admittedly don’t know as much about him as Takaichi, who I’ve been well-aware of for many years.

It’s telling that everyone who works with her or understands anything about policy hates her but she still has a ~71% approval rating by the public. Most people here want to ignore the big scary changes going on in the world and be told by their „strong leader“ that everything is like it ever was.
