Performative waste of time, or a historic step on the way for peace after 80 years of official war?
Israel and Lebanon are meeting in Washington for direct peace talks.
Meanwhile the war Hezbollah declared on behalf of their Iranian overlords is continuing. They claim even talking with Israel is a surrender. And are firing dozens of projectiles daily on Israeli towns across the border.
But the IDF claims they have only a few days of major fighting left in them, and released another video of Radwan force terrorists surrendering to the IDF (In the article too).

Article misspoke, it should read “Hezbollah fighters taken hostage by terrorists”

This a joke. Lebanon has zero control over Hezbollah and if they even sent their military to try to disarm them most of them would probably desert

Key part there. Historic step *while* Hezbollah fires rockets. Lebanon has zero control over Hezbollah.
