A refund is just that, a refund, a return of excess withholding. There’s no way this Doordashing red neck had $11,000.00 in excess witholding.

The “$11,000 refund” is also utter bullshit. This woman did not make over $80,000 in tips alone last year ffs. She had $11,000 less in *taxable income*. Much like “No tax on OT” being just the half of time and a half. Everything this government says is fucking criminally dishonest
