      Sanchez is a far left populist that is willing to sacrifice the union and future of his country to keep himself in power. Somehow, has a lot of internet support.

      So stupid. China just threatened to cut the EU off from rare earth minerals. Why are Europeans always so keen to be submissive to stronger countries?

      I think it’s time for a new alliance to replace NATO or, at the very least, to remove certain members. We have members, specifically Spain, who don’t take defense seriously and have always been ambivalent nations. Operation El Dorado Canyon, anyone? At least the French have an opinion and take action. Even if I disagree with their actions at times, they are more respectable from a U.S. perspective than Spain.

      You cannot benefit from the U.S.-led world order while simultaneously begging the greatest threat to that order to take a bigger role. People can blame Trump, but if our European allies cannot handle one President who is skeptical of the alliance due to their own lack of spending, then perhaps that President is right to view the alliance differently. NATO survived De Gaulle leaving the integrated command, the Suez Crisis, and Greco-Turk tensions; is one U.S. President who legally *cannot* leave the alliance really „too much“?

      I think NATO is a great alliance; I served with many NATO nations in European exercises and the Middle East. We are all on the same team, but nations like these, who consistently act against reasonable American interests, are a threat to the alliance.

      lol no matter if they are in the US or in Europe, Democrat Socialists still have some weird idea of Russia and China. Free Catalonia, that is multipolarity for you.

      He didn’t mention „multipolar order“ though, that’s the headline of someone’s piece for Reuters. His actual statements are pretty mild let’s work together and get along stuff, yet he went into the „unsustainable“ trade deficit with China and asked them to open their market so Europe doesn’t have to close theirs.

      Sánchez has big trouble at literally home right now. I don’t know if he’ll be touring for a while.
