Maybe being a super villain isn’t such a cool thing after all.

He’ll be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life now. He has sown the wind, I hope he reaps the whirlwind.

I always thought Peter Thiel would be the kind of guy to be at the end of attacks

Rich evil and famous is a bad combination. At a certain point, I’d try to be an anonymous as possible, especially if I was burning the world down.

Or he’s orchestrating it .   Wouldn’t be a first for some confused folk

Surely a successful attack will stop the advancement of AI in its tracks and force OpenAI to shut down.

    6. Wait, they were charged for a negligent discharge for firing at his house? Something not adding up.

Well what do you expect when you publicly state your product will likely destroy humanity but lots of money will be made in the mean time?

Putins petromafia tactics, been tried on Trump with his fake blood on his ear (succeeded) , been tried on Viktor Orban (he failed yesterday), been trying on Altman guy two times (so he could become next US president and increase the slop?)

    9. We need these to increase in frequency and intensity.

If only we had some sort of bureau which was federal and responsible for investigating these… Filled with hyper competent people who are top of their graduating class and seen as a coveted position to have…

In any case. It’ll show them what it means for the fbi to be run by an incompetent idiot.

When the fbi worked well, these things happened, they were just quickly caught and shut down.

Oh no the rapist supervillain trying to crush civilisation as we know it is in danger?

    11. „Ai will take everyone’s jobs“ talk from CEO’s has probably had its intended effect and some people believe it.

LLMs will take some jobs and new jobs will become available, there are thousands of jobs not met by demand that will become available.

Let’s put it this way, humanity has never seen a drop in the labour force participation rate due to technology improvements, so AI would be the exception which always should come with some caution, yes LLMs and image generation are pretty large changes, the internet was to.

I’d be more worried about inflation, price/earnings ratios and interest rates rising over anything neural net related.

    12. Who would’ve thought that the biggest AI spokesperson will be targeted by anti-AI people…
