Good. Also, now we know it’s probably not gonna be two Republicans in the general. So that’s something.

Edit: But vote anyways. No matter how safe an election seems, nothing is automatic.

Imagine the ego that 99% of politicians seem to have. This mfer KNOWS he’s got all these skeletons in his closet and still had the fucking gall to run for higher office. it’s some combination of ego and being extremely privileged

Good, now let’s see republicans follow on the same footsteps or will the be the usual double standard

Good. At the very very least, he had multiple affairs. That alone is enough for me to not vote for a politician when I have a choice to vote for someone else in my same party. There are plenty of other options I can choose from in the primary. Swalwell is just another mediocre man who feels entitled to women’s bodies. No thank you.

This was always going to happen. IDK why he thought he was going to think he was going to continue?

  6. Good. Fuck him. We aren’t magats. We aren’t going to overlook something like this the way they do. We aren’t them.

Notice how the Democrats are not circling the wagons and defending this guy no matter what?

Both sides are not the same.

Insane that he thought he could run for governor knowing he was whipping his dick out in front of his employees.

    Confused outsider here.

How is Donald Trump’s political career so uniquely immune to this sort of scandal?

What is it that provides him an invisible consequences umbrella?

I remember when it was Cuomo. Fuck Cuomo. He can eat it. Now Swalwell. Fuck him too.

See how easy that is, MAGA? When someone you support for office or someone who is on your ’side‘ does something fucked up, you give them the ol‘ fuck off and they can go eat it.

  11. If he was a GQP/MAGA it would have been dismissed as „Fake News“ and the girl is lying or at fault. True or not, dropping out was the right move. CA will never elect an R again, anyway. Ronnie and Arnie will be it for decades. And in today’s world, those two would be considered a liberal, book learnin‘ elitist.

Sexual misconduct is a huge understatement and makes it sound like he was only guilty of being a cheater which he was already claiming in order to discredit the allegations of rape.

  13. There’s something that just makes my brain 🤯

Hear me out – I am in no way condoning any sexual misconduct… but the United States has now twice elected to the highest office in the land – a serial sexual predator that ia on the record bragging about his sexual conquests including preying on minor females. So many disgusting examples, but I will never forget when he bragged about having a stake in the Teen USA franchise which allows him to go into their dressing room when they’re nude and he said they can’t tell him to leave.

Do you notice the hypocrisy that Republicans and Democrats say that US Rep Eric Swalwell should withdraw and he should – but how come no mass outcry for Führer Drumpf not only in 2016 but again in 2024 after allegations were proven – and what about other Trumplican sexual predators and criminals to withdraw?

  14. And there it is, Republicans. It’s that easy. He was called out, people turned on him, he dropped out. Within a matter of days. No denying, no lying, no people standing behind him just because he has a D next to his name. Be better. I bet he’s even going to be prosecuted and not pardoned. Can you imagine?

I am saddened by this. Unfortunately, power corrupts even those that have positive images beforehand.

Sad to see so much whatsboutism on this. We won’t get anywhere until people stop defending their “side” of politics.

He just needs to switch to the Republican party; he’ll easily get the nomination.
