If Armenian elite thought that Az was bad faith they would never have wasted 25 years negotiating with them. Armenia was never stuck in a limbo, not doing enough for a power balance and then saying that Aliev is going to wipe any document with his ass

Attitude Towards Profanity and Women
Profanity: I recently had a situation where two dogs attacked me in the courtyard of my building. They were barking and were very close to me; I was fending them off with my things and shouting. I yelled out „blyat,“ and after the dogs retreated, a guy who had seen the whole thing approached me and confronted me, saying that one shouldn’t swear. In other words, this young man wasn’t bothered by the fact that dogs were terrifying passersby; only the swearing offended his traditionalist brain. Maybe we should be solving actual problems instead of clinging to old customs? As an Armenian raised in Russia, I don’t understand the mentality against profanity. These words serve as an emotional release, a lightning rod. Granted, one shouldn’t communicate in curses constantly, but there are situations where it is entirely justified.
Women: An entire month for women? Seriously? Men aren’t even issued a passport without going through the military registration office, and then for residency registration, you also have to report to the local military office. Women get their passports and residency permits much faster and easier. Men are in a high-risk zone—we are obligated to die for the state’s control over a territory. And we don’t have our own day? Not to mention a month. We are expected to give flowers just so girls will even consider you as an option. We are expected to pay on dates for some reason. No, I am not going to grant privileges to women. Oh, and for some reason, swearing is specifically forbidden in their presence. As if they don’t know these words or don’t use them. Yes, it might be unpleasant. But it’s nothing terrible—you’ll survive.

Not making the effort to teach your half-Armenian kids your native/family language means you either resent or completely don’t care about being Armenian

Im proud to be Armenian however I have no interest in learning more about our culture and language, let alone passing that knowledge to the next generation.
Our identity to the world is tied to the genocide and its ok for those that wish to not be tied to our own culture. I feel like most people I talk to value reproducing so the Armenian history isnt forgotten and I could care less about it when our community rejects even a slight deviation from our „norm“.

Armenians have unhealthy attitude towards drinking. Their whole life and especially „fun“ revolves around drinking parties and getting wasted. But when asked majority doesnt consider this a drinking problem, its just „occasionally“ drinking

Mayr Ator is a rotten organization that looks more like a mafia family than a church. Church top brass are criminals, and Epstein would be proud of them.

Without the Church as a foundation the Armenian people would’ve disappeared in history i.e. assimilated into another people/culture or been wiped out
