  1. Your taxes at work. Not the RCMP fault. Poorly thought out liberal program. Again.

You can’t make this shit up.

Wish we could just have peace, order, and *good* government.

  3. What a stupid shitshow just for Quebec. I think we’ve appeased them enough.

Yes definitely not advisable in the interests of safety, for everybody involved. I once had a sweet little old lady come to us to surrender her deceased husband’s old revolvers, and she just walked up holding both of them pointed at us, completely clueless.

B-b-but I was told the Liberals were pragmatic and economic geniuses.

Why would they keep pushing a policy that experts disagree on combined with excessive spending?

The train wreck continues. I’d laugh if it wasn’t such a colossal waste of time, money, and resources.

About 15 years ago we cleaned out the home of an elderly relative and found bullets from when he used to hunt.

We brought them to the local small town police station for disposal. A sign on the door said *“Do not bring firearms here. We will freak out.“*

Who knew bull headed asinine ideological nonsense could be this stupid, dangerous, and expensive, all to yield a few seats in Quebec?

If only experts lined up and spoke out about how this wouldn’t do anything to reduce gun crime.

If only experts told them to instead invest at our borders, where the crime guns are coming from.

If only most of the largest police services in Canada opted out and refused to participate in this program.

If only provincial governments opted out, including Liberal and NDP provinces.

Except all of this did happen, and in spite of all of this, Carney *still* showed us that he is capable of making terrible terrible decisions that could potentially make law abiding Canadian citizens criminals with the stroke of this ideological pen.

Guy walks into the Chilliwack RCMP detachment.

„Hi, officer. My grandfather brought home this Panzerfaust as a souvenir from World War II. I think it still works.“ (momentarily fiddles with the trigger) „Where should I turn it in?“

  10. Theyre saying this because only people dumb enough to surrender their firearms aren’t smart enough to realize you shouldn’t walk into police stations with guns lmao

I’ve forfeited ammo before (open-box, corrosive Russian stuff that I couldn’t even give away.) I phoned non-emergency and asked if I could bring it in and they said NO. They’ll send a car and make sure there’s no funny business. It went fine.

I can only imagine how the cops would react if you just walked in unannounced with a gun. They don’t want anything to do with that. No matter your intentions that’s going to result in at least an hour or two in cuffs.
