      Since KSA started moving towards modernization, there was a vaccum in the leadership of extremely conservative and radical spheres .

      Turkey under erdogan started to fill this vaccum and take the position of leadership in this sphere .

      And the best way to gain popularity is threatening israel . Erdogan is an empty vessel , a politician who knows how to rile his voter base and distract from the tumbling economy. If he wanted to do something he would have already done it.

      Erdogan got himself in such an impossible position between Russia and the EU in the past 5 years you’d think he wouldn’t repeat the same mistakes again. But here he is, not even in control of his own narrative anymore.
