      I’m Albanian and live in Kosovo, so for early medieval I’d have lived in the Eastern Roman Empire, and depending on how long you push that period maybe one of the first Bulgarian Empires.

      Having done genealogy before, every single one in Western Europe, the Byzantine Empire, and the Umayyad Caliphate. Largest concentration of them on this map though is in the Frankish kingdoms.

      Well ancestors were either danish settlers in England, the Celtic reghed tribe, Bernician Anglo-Saxons, or remnant Romano Britons. Probably a mix of all of all four.

      If you are European then you guarranted have ancestors from all of europe, some from Umayyad and likely some from Tang, people have been fucking. Unless your entire heritage has lived secluded in some mountations uncontacted by the outside world until today.
