It’d be great if they could stop automatically launching their shitty app every couple days too.
They should start with the goddamn share window in Microsoft 365. It covers up what you’re typing in the message to the recipient.
The best Copilot removal button is the „Buy“ button on Apple.com/mac

Can it remove the Copilot button on laptop keyboards?
Start removing unnecessary OneDrive, Edge, and telemetry. Hire people who actually give a shit.
They messed up how CoPilot should be integrated into their apps.
If they provided a free-tier version of CoPilot that didn’t require you to pay for a Microsoft 365 subscription, then having a CoPilot button in various utilities feels like it would be quite helpful.
For example, a CoPilot button in Notepad that you could open a chat to using the current text file as context, and asking it to manipulate it without needing to know RegEx, markdown, etc… (similar to how Cursor does it) would actually be really a useful feature for a huge number of people.
Too little, too late.
CoPilot should have been a feature tab in the ribbon to make people curious rather than an in-your-face icon. You want people to engage willingly not feel held hostage.

Take it off keyboards too… what a terrible rule to say a laptop is required to have a dedicated CoPilot button on a keyboard to be able to be named an AI laptop 🤦♂️

So…all Compilot buttons? That’s the only right way. OK, that and remove all instances and references of Copilot.
And I’m gonna remove them all after they rename it something else.
Copilot is pretty meh. Ive had it give me useful advice when it comes to navigating windows operating system particularily when it comes using stuff like command prompt. Outside of that though it hallucinates and lies like all the other AIs.
