  1. Anyone know what makes Java so much more suited to a dense population compared to the other Indonesian islands? I know Borneo and Sumatra have a lot of rainforests, but wouldn’t Java have also originally been mostly jungle before humans showed up?

    Interesting. The biggest wow for me because I literally had no idea is Malawi. Lots of people in a smallish country!

    People underestimate England being one of the most densely populated places, made more so by the fact that it’s even denser then on paper as half of the country is moorlands or unusable land so populations are concentrated

    If I was an alien I’d think there were three cities on the planet china,India,Java. Then a bunch of rural towns all over the place
