  1. Finnish GDP per capita is actually quite high, it is slightly higher than in Canada:

We don’t have that much alcoholics anymore, because younger generations are not interested of alcohol. Nowadays Finnish alcohol consumption is about the average in Europe.

The key to Finnish happiness probably is close to nature lifestyle, and cottage culture, and sauna of course. Finnish character is partly indigenous.

One hidden feature of Finnish culture is, that in a way Finland might be the only independent country in Europe nowadays. Our neighbours have lost their independence long ago. Sweden is tied to global money elites and their agendas, Norway has been America’s minion for decades, and Estonia was under the rule of Moscow for decades, and nowadays it is totally under the control of EU and international conglomerates. All European countries are more or less someone’s puppets and mentally castrated. Finland is still fighting back and paradoxically this turbulent geopolitical situation gives more space for Finland’s autonomous policies.

So if someone moves to Finland with that Pan European mentality to find a master who to serve loyally, and then keep mouth shut and live some pathetic „happy“ life, that person is going to dissapoint heavily. And many are in that position right now. We are not that much into serving others‘ agendas. Our mental structure is totally different, shaped by history.
