      Protests continue while govt negotiates with approved organisations. Senior member of govt party and former speaker of lower house warned govt weeks ago it was ignoring the huge problems in agriculture. Says he has never seen the depth of anger toward FFG from the farming community that he has seen recently. Smaller opposition party wants vote of no confidence in govt.

      The vote will almost certainly be defeated if it goes ahead. Real division between Dublin urban, wealthier class and rural. It’s a mess.

      So there’s a shortage of oil that leads to higher fuel prices. As such you decide to block the countrys only refinery?

      Of course it is the farmers again and of course the government caves and promises support packages for „key sectors“.

      I am so sick of farmers and fishermen screwing over the rest of the population.

      We all suffer from rising prices and ecological damage, but these people just make it worse.

      Yes, Government refuses to help lower the cost of living and fuel prices, and then turns the fucking Army on its own civilians when they dare to complain. Democracy. You’ve gotta love our Government.
