It’s stupid to discipline the subordinates, they can’t exactly refuse and as Chief he may have had some reason for doing it. E.g. improving logical thinking skills, team building etc why would they question it? unless it was dangerous or illegal.

I’ve seen plenty of strange “games” held at meetings, one time I was asked “
“What animal i associated with?” another time I was asked to do push ups .

If you punish the victims, they’re just going to not report it next time.
