Bullshit. There’s plenty of people in both parties who still view Israel favorably, especially older voters.

Bibi, is a whole other story..

Makes sense. Israel is directly responsible for pointlessly increasing the cost of living for 8 billion people around the world, why wouldn’t they be disliked.

Old Republicans who have way too much entitlement and privilege even thought they’re by far the stupidest group on the planet

  4. GlobalistCabal on

There are 80,000 dead Gaza civilians slaughtered by the IDF.

How could anyone have a positive view of the government giving those orders?

  5. Fit_Elderberry_7236 on

And yet the DNC still can’t turn against them. Will turn right on any issue but this? The whole electability thing that their most ardent supporters keep repeating turns out to be BS.

They aren’t doing this because they are worried about electability. They want to do this.

Nah nah nah, Your all on the hook. We’re not doing this „Im part of this club“ nonsense anymore.

There was a time when I admired Israel. A quick google search will reveal large numbers of Israelis pissed because raping prisoners was now illegal. Large numbers who want to kill every Palestinian in Gaza. Woman Children Babies-all of them. This is clear mental illness, and must be stopped.

That’s… Not what the article says. Plenty of folks still support Israel if not their current governments actions.

  9. People are so afraid of standing up to Israel because of religion, or the holocaust They will scream antisemitism because you don’t agree with Netanyahu.

All the while more than half the normal Jewish people in Israel want to get rid of him just as bad.

  10. That’s because to a lot of those old Republicans: they are religious and they need Israel for their end of the world prophecies.

  11. The painful part that Democrat Establishment doesn’t want to admit, is that much of their centrist base are still aligned with parts of Christian Nationalism.

It’s fucked how much of US culture was affected by the self-righteousness, the flag waving, and belief that USA was set forth as God’s chosen country. (That belief overrides Israel to the Armageddon types)

It could be seen at the similarities of sign-offs with speeches at the DNC and RNC, „….and God bless America.“

It is so weak from a narrative and theological standpoint to say „No, we are the good Christians and they are the bad.“ That’s just a cage match in a religious bubble.

  12. Annoying that everyone in my very liberal family is still in full support of Israel. Me and my sibs grew up culturally Jewish and were fed a whole lot of pro-Israel propaganda growing up and I seem to be the only one who hasn’t fully bought in. My sibs, millennials, are still convinced everyone in the Middle East is out yo exterminate every Jew in the world 🤦‍♂️

  13. Wishful thinking. Consider the source as it panders to its audience. 74 million people would still vote for him. (Not happy about it but this is the reality.)

i heard a BBC radio interview today with people in Beirut affected by the explosion, and it had me in tears. Israel is evil. I don’t know how anyone can support them and hold their head up.

  15. that’s why Israel has been extra nuts lately, they’re window of support from the US is closing and they know it. but we still gotta wait this generation out

Remember folks, that this is the most reliable voting bloc in the country.

  17. supervegeta101 on

Not true. Old democrats who still think 3rd way politics still works are still see Israel favorably.

That’s false. I’m not republican and I support Israel.
Because I have read the declassified intel reports and recorded discussions at 1919 peace conference, UN,British declassified docs . It’s been 100 years!

Reading newspapers articles written by witnesses of events and reading docs covering 1920 to 1948 shows you how all kinds of wrong assumptions lead some Arabs to assume Jews hate them and had the same drive for revenge as Arabs do.

I found out that Jihad to exterminate Jews originated in 1928! Before Israel!
The Muslim Brotherhood decided that good Muslims are always granted victory by Allah, therefore the Ottomans should have defeated the British. They finally concluded that they were good Muslims, so the way the Ottomans made war did not matter to which side won. Which is a denial that human actions are able to change things.

The MB decided that Jews did something to make Allah too weak to grant victory. But Allah knows everything, so this doesn’t make any sense to me.

They decided to do jihad to exterminate the Jews , then conquer and apply shariah law as revenge for losing WW1 . Hamas is a branch of MB. It’s complicated and this site has the history

They’re a parasitic cancerous growth that has to be surgically removed, and if it can’t survive on it’s own, it’s divine will I guess.

Could probably simplify that to the only Americans who view Israel favorably are in office

    The Last Boomer War.

Demographics are enough to tell you why BoneSpurs Trump and his daiper buddies dragged us into this shit.

They couldn’t help but send the youngest generation to die in the sand one last time. For nostalgia.

Ah yes, the voting class that decides the future path of a country that they don’t have to live in.

  23. Sassy-irish-lassy on

Weird, just a year ago, any and all criticism of Israel was being called anti-Semitic, but their policies have not fundamentally changed since then.

  24. Even that will start degrading. My hog, evangelical, conservative relatives are beginning to become more aware

  25. HairAncient5500 on

I have many Jewish friends and family members who vote democrat and still see Israel favorably 🤷‍♂️

  26. I haven’t heard any convincing arguments for supporting Israel. None. 3.3 billion dollars a year?! and for fucking what?! They are supposed to be a sovereign nation, so let them earn money and strike out on their own. Why do we have to pay their welfare bills, especially when they have things like universal healthcare and we do not? I do not support their villainous behavior in Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, West Bank or anyplace they terrorize. I do not want to continue to pay for their crimes. I want their influence out of our society, government and politics. None of it makes sense, the costs do not benefit us and their religious plight isn’t my fucking problem. Cut. Them. Off.
