Congratulations on the courts pouring gasoline on separatism fire.
You’re just going to make people even angrier if you tell them they’re not even allowed to vote on it.
Good. The land doesn’t actually belong to the province yet some wackos think they can steal it all away.
Does this also impact quebec seperatism?
Like would quebec run into obstacles now from first nations if they tried to have another referendum?
Don’t they already have a legal obstacle that keeps them from having another one after the last failed attempt?
Edit: this was actually supposed to be a reply to another post.
So….the people are obligated to billions upon billions to first nations…..and the first nations also get to prevent them from deciding who they will be governed by and their self determination? Sounds like slavery has been reinvented in Canada.
I know they have been signalling they would do this since day one, but I never thought the First Nations would be leading the pro-Canadian sovereignty movement…. I guess it makes sense, they have the most power under the Canadian law.
