I guess even if it happened with Genghis Khan it would have been unacceptable and result in his loss of throne… Don’t know how he got away with this…

The second great unifier. I love Japanese history. But I never heard this story before. My view of him has always been sandal bearer who wage failed wars against korea. But I guess he liked the ladies.

Different time, same story. Throughout history until today (and beyond) our global leaders will always be greedy, wasteful, and vain sexual deviants.

I have read about him but I never read anywhere that he was such a womanizer. Perhaps this is a propaganda ?

He also was born a peasant, moved up the class ladder, became leader of the country, and then basically was like, „okay no more of that nonsense, we are a caste system now. Get rekt.“

The cherry blossom viewing party is on Mt Yoshino in Nara, beautiful place. Would bring my homies and 1300 women there

His worst mistakes would be invading Korea and making hideyori his heir. He had an adopted son which he killed to make way for hideyori, the adopted son by accounts was very capable.

Hideyori is just a puppet since he was so young
