      They’re going to lose their shit over the massive backlog of people with genuine refugee cases that will be let in by the next administration. I’m done giving a single solitary fuck about any of their complaints forever.

      Trump directed the state department to prioritize entries for “South Africans of European descent”, specifically worded that way. Long way of saying “WHITE”

      Because the USA is essentially surrounded by oceans, canada and mexico it’s hard to make the case that anyone claiming to be a refugee couldn’t have stayed in some other country that they passed through on their way to the USA.

      But there is a moral responsibility to care for some refugees. Especially if wars you participated in created them.

      And between not letting refugees in and cutting USAID it certainly feels like the US has turned it’s back on the people of the world who need help.
