Having US troops leave the country? Don’t threaten me with a good time.

Punishing? Ah, I remember Trump promising by punishing us by encouraging Russia to attack us. I’m waiting for the Russian fleet at Costa del Sol!

  3. Yeah, right. Trump was hellbent on weakening NATO anyway and NATO is supposed to be defensive organization.

This will just accelerate NATO morphing into version with very minimal (or none) participation of US which may be for the best for future security of Europe.

Oh screw off America. No one wants to join in on your pointless war, sorry „excursion“. Also the Iran war had NOTHING to do with NATO. NATO is a defensive pact not offensive. It is also location based.

Iran is not in the North Atlantic or Europe. America was the aggressor, Iran did not attack the USA first. Nothing to do with this „excursion“ had anything to do with NATO. This whole „Excursion“ was a big mistake and should never have happened. Trump let Israel persuade him to attack Iran and cause world wide economic chaos for no damn good reason. A lot of innocent people died.

How does any of this have anything to do with NATO. The world needs to start ostracising the USA. It is time to tell them they aren’t in control and we need to move away from them. The USA is no longer a trustworthy partner for trade deals or anything anymore. It doesn’t matter if the Dems win the presidency next time no one will trust the USA because as soon as a Rep wins all bets are off and all agreements are null and void.

Americans sitting around watching the cost of their gas go up; the cost of their food go up; and their nation’s reputation and honour go down the fucking drain.

The states is restricted in using joint bases because they are committing war crimes. Just like when allies stopped sharing intelligence with the states while they were striking small boats in international waters, striking ship wrecked sailors, and disguising a plane as civilian to strike boats. War crimes that countries that have morals and ethics want no part of. But that convicted felon pedophile doesn’t understand morals and ethics.

So, Trump wants the US to be punished for not helping countries in their wars?

What a bizarre standard he’s setting up here

  8. People act like NATO is just Europe benefiting from the U.S., but they forget the only time Article 5 was ever invoked was after 9/11, in support of America.

So what is the benefit to the U.S. of pulling out? It would not make America stronger against China. It would leave the U.S. with fewer allies, less influence, and a weaker deterrent.

Trump showed his true face when he wanted to pull out of NATO with the Ukraine support (which he only half did, as with everything). Now he’s asking for their help. I hope the EU will give him a piece of his own ‚the art of the deal‘ and show him what’s it like 🙂

  10. Who cares? We don’t need them. Europe is fully capable of standing on its own two feet

  11. Yes because it’s well known the DEFENSIVE alliance known as NATO always jumps to the defense of any member who is the aggressor in a war…

  12. Typical Trump. Fucks up shit because he’s stupid and can’t be assed to learn – then turns around, blames others, and tries to punish them for his fuck-ups. And because he’s such an incompetent loser, and surrounds himself with losers that suck even worse than him, he’ll go on and fuck up the punishment.

Biggest Loser of All Time indeed. Hope that bloat pops soon.

NATO did help us out after 9/11. The only time Article 5 was ever invoked. Europe has always been our real allies. And now we treat them like garbage meanwhile Net & Yahoo and Israel just get unlimited blind support as they drag us into illegal offensive wars and commit war crimes on a daily basis.

Trump has been looking for a reason to distance from NATO since his 1st term. Putin wants it.

  15. You cannot convince me that the US isn’t actively trying to destroy it’s superpower status at this point. If they actually tried anything, European countries would immediately kick the US out of all European military bases, the logistical hub the US uses to project power in the Middle East and Africa is gone. America would go from a global presence to a handful of Middle Eastern bases which need supplies sent across the Atlantic instead of over the Mediterranean and a handful of bases in the Pacific. It would cripple the US military overnight.

It’s almost like Europe is geographically extremely important and there’s a huge amount of value in being able to freely access an entire continent. But I don’t expect any of the current US administration to have that kind of forethought.

It’s a defensive alliance you fucking moron, no one is obligated to fight your and Israel’s wars of aggression!

How has all that threatening worked out for Trump so far? Other than GOP politicians, US law firms and television networks, he mostly just looks like an impotent gasbag.

He’s a selfish puppet. Most likely blackmailed by a few nations. Praising Russia and insulting, threatening allies. It’s sad but we have to accept it. Even if he dies the soulless billionaires own that creep Vance as well. Europe has to become stronger without the US. Too much can happen during this administration still. Damage is done. Luckily there are other nations around the world that are also fed up with the PDF file. Canada, Korea, Australia, Japan, Ukraine. Even more stable business deals with China and India. It’s not perfect but it’s just the way it is now.

  19. The United States spent nearly 80 years cultivating NATO and Trump and MAGA destroy it in a couple years.

The US’s system is falling apart in real time.

  20. Holy fuck that isnt how ANY OF THIS WORKS. I swear America is doing what Russia dreams it could. Wont anyone just remove this administration already? Wake up Congress. Do something! Genuinely vexing shit.

  21. Nato is not a club of bullies. It’s a defensive treaty.

The US was not attacked on their soil. Europe was not attacked on their soil.

The USA acts as an aggressor.

    Europe does not want war.

Maybe if he wants lackeys, he should use the ones from his board of peace.

The U.S. is threatening the anti-tourist citizens of Spain with a good time by promising to remove its 3,600 „tourists with guns“ from their country.

What? With tariffs. Maybe we don’t want to trade with the USA anymore. Fuck Trump

  25. “NATO you better take the offensive or we’ll make our citizens pay even more tariffs!”

  26. GroundbreakingOil480 on

Does that mean he’ll take a break from punishing us Americans for a while?

  27. Euclidisthebomb on

Trump has been on a quest to attempt to divide and break NATO for some time. If Hungary votes the toad out of office as anticipated Trump’s litany of failures is going to extend yet again.

He can’t legally exit NATO as it requires congressional consent. But before he becomes a lame duck President (after the mid terms) he can do a lot of interim damage. On behalf of Putin that is certainly his goal. I have no doubt one of the reasons he and his team cooked up attacking Iran was to assist Russian in an underhanded way.

Thanfully non-American NATO has been preparing for this and is reorganizing and reorienting. Non-American NATO still has a lot of work ahead of it but it is not completely flat footed. This will just accelerate their eliminating American weapons from their inventory – a huge loss for the American military industrial complex.

  28. They already punished them by starting the war and ruining the petrol prices
