Im Ernst, wie absolut dumm können Menschen sein?
Heutzutage behandle ich im Grunde jeden und alles so, wie er angesehen wird, nur um nicht enttäuscht zu werden. Essen im Zug verstehe ich, das ist kein Problem.

Unless you witnessed someone dropping it on the floor, maybe be a bit more charitable.
It could have fallen from their pocket or bag. A cleaner emptying the bins may have dropped it and not noticed while working quickly. The train may have braked suddenly, spraying eggshell everywhere shortly before their stop.
You know you are in a good place when people complain about these things.
